Providing customers and users with safety of use <\/strong> of products available on the market \u2013 from purchase to their disposal \u2013 is the main idea of \u200b\u200bthe obligation to CE marking <\/strong> and the declaration of conformity (DoC) issued by the manufacturer\/importer. Declaration of Conformity <\/strong> confirms that the manufacturer has carried out conformity assessment of the product with the essential requirements of the European Union directives and\/or regulations. For many products, the declaration of conformity must be confirmed by a competent unit, independent from the manufacturer\/importer, the so-called Notified Body \u2013 it is then referred to as mandatory assessment <\/strong>. For other products the certificate is a voluntary, additional \u2013 advantageous <\/strong> for both the producer and the end-user \u2013 confirmation <\/strong> product properties ensuring its safe use <\/strong> and minimal environmental impact <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ICR Polska Co., Ltd. is a body accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation (PCA) - accreditation number AC 197 <\/a>. It is also a European notified body (NB No. 2703<\/a>) within the scope of the directives for which we conduct a full conformity assessment: MD machinery safety (2006\/42\/EC<\/a>); electromagnetic compatibility EMC (2014\/30\/EU<\/a>); radio equipment RED (2014\/53\/EU<\/a>); electrical devices operating in a potentially explosive atmosphere ATEX (2014\/34\/EU<\/a>).<\/p>\n

If the assessment of the production system was carried out with the participation of a notified body, the identification number of this body is placed next to the CE mark. Such an assessment is mandatory for the ATEX Directive 2014\/34\/EU<\/a> and the MDR (EU)2017\/745<\/a>.<\/p>\n
