It also specifies the types of unmanned aircraft systems whose design, production and maintenance are subject to certification.<\/p>\n<p>This Regulation also lays down rules applicable to operators of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from third countries when they operate unmanned aircraft systems in the single European sky on the basis of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019\/947.<\/p>\n<p>The Regulation applies to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 UAS intended for operation in accordance with the rules and conditions applicable to SBSP operations under the \u201eopen\u201d category or covered by declarations of operation under SBSP operations of the \u201especific\u201d category in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019\/947;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 UAS operated in accordance with the rules and conditions applicable to UAS operations under the \u201ecertified\u201d and \u201especific\u201d categories in accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019\/947;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 operators of unmanned aircraft systems whose principal place of business, registered office or place of residence is in a third country, if the operations of unmanned aircraft systems take place in the Union.<\/p>\n<p>ICR Polska Sp. z o.o., as a notified body No. 2703, meeting the needs of manufacturers, importers and users, conducts conformity assessment and certification of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (DRONES) for operations within the \u201eopen\u201d category (C0, C1, C2, C3, C4) and \u201especific\u201d C5 and C5.<\/p>\n<p>Operations performed using an unmanned aircraft system in the \u201especial\u201d category other than C5 and C6 require a separate operating permit issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. We provide technical support in this area.<\/p>\n<p>Unmanned aircraft equipped with radio transmission modules must comply with the requirements of Directive 2014\/53\/EU.
